It seems that some among us have the uncanny ability of transforming even the most ordinary in to something cool and special. Then there are the chosen few who can use their invisible magic wand to create the most amazing gadgets and invent the most unlikely tools out of absolutely nothing. Sheer imagination coupled with flowing thoughts and great intent drive these few. In the eco-world you come across such individuals quite a lot as this field demands all that and more that is all the more true when you intend to weave a web of green magic that is not just planet-friendly but also an ‘eye candy’ that is loaded with elegance and bling. Let’s just say that Mariano Fajgelbaum is one of those chosen few!

The Catamaran is nothing like the ones you would normally find in Latin America or India- The places they are known for. This is one is the new space-age Catamaran for those who love to delve in to the deep blues and enjoy their water sports or even that amazing trip in to the never-ending blue horizon. Mariano designed the Catamaran along with another Industrial Designer, Juan Serrano, when working at Ustatic Studio in Buenos Aires. The fantastic aquatic pod carries you on the wings of green energy powered by both solar energy and wave energy.

This truly is one of the best carriers on the ocean in terms of its green features with the solar panels that stick out giving it a very unique and unmistakable identity of its own. The Catamaran seems to have no official name and hence I would like to call it “Wings of Green” for the reasons stated above, obviously. This is a wonderful ambassador for green energy as it just shows how one can innovate and improvise with green technology to create attractive yet clean new alternatives in a world that desperately needs some. Hope Mariano’s project soon starts ruling the sultry beaches of Latin America and all over across the planet!
