We have heard of many utilities formed out of plastic bags. But, a furniture! Specially a chair! Yes, this bright looking chair is made of those plastic shopping bags. Africans traditionally used plastics discarded everyday to transform them into objects for home-use. Making of this chair, named Inkuku is also based on this technique.
Inspired by a chicken ornament made in this style, Ryan innovatively transformed a huge amount of assembled plastic bags into this amazing furniture - the chair. The color, shape and texture of both the seat and its legs, clearly reflects the influence and inspiration.
