If you have been following the auto industry since long then you would be aware of the story of Datsun. Not a company by itself, this was only an automobile marque under the big daddy Nissan. Many of you may not be aware of this as Nissan has discontinued this brand 22 years back to boost its own identity. However it couldn’t take the limelight away from its iconic sports car, the Datsun 240Z. And almost two decades later, Benjamin Nawaka has retrieved the magic for all Datsun fans in form of the XLink. Schemed for his project at the Yulon Nissan Design Centre, Taiwan, this design student has given birth to a completely new form.
Getting his motivation from architecture and aviation, this green four wheeler prominently features winglets which are formed by the body panels overlapping the bonnet. While on the back side the flanks extending over the back screen. Green element is defined by its diesel hybrid drivetrain.
Sadly no official word on the XLink zooming to production stage.

’Datsun was an automobile marque. There never was an actual ”Datsun” company, as the brand name was used in production only by DAT Motors and its successor, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.’
