Here is nice way to go both warm and green at the same time. Heaters used in domestic homes normally amount somewhere in between 2 to 4 percent of the houses electricity bill. This means that virtually 5 percent or so of the energy consumed by domestic locations across the planet is being used to just heat water! This statistic of course varies depending on the climate of the place in question and also the amount of hot water one requires. Hence, one can safely assume that 5 percent of Carbon emissions produced from fossil fuels that are burnt to produce this electricity are directly from household geysers!


So what is my point? Well, simple actually. IF you can switch from using a normal geyser to a solar-powered geyser, then surely you will cut out on both the emissions and the bills. Now, in order to do that, you need not stop reading this piece abruptly and hurry to the store to get one. I do not think your store will have one at hand either. So you can get to making one. What more, you can just convert your plain old geyser in to a solar powered one.
