Here at Ecofriend, we love to pen down about stuff made from trash and scrap. Cause that’s one of the definitions of recycling! Today I have bought the Recycled Boat for all those who love to sail on the waters. This particular boat was built to participate in a Recycled Boat building contest at Saluda Shoals Park in Columbia SC. Depending on your requirements; you can craft an exceptionally well designed sturdy boat. Using stuff like discarded containers, out-of-work but in perfectly good shape grocery buggy, Gorilla Glue Duct Tape and other stuff like rakes for handles are enough to set you sailing.
To read more about this trashy boat in details, read here. Jrobinson has rightly said that building a boat out of trash takes hard work, dedication and a sense of humor! Don’t give up!
Don’t throw trash in water, rather sail on it!

Hello! I have a question.. We have a pond and about a year ago a friend needed our dirt to fill some land. As he was taking dumptruck loads of sand that surrounded our pond he revealed trash that had been burried there from years ago. So now the there is a hill of trash that sits in our pond! Anyways, I believe that the water is unhealthy to swim in and not safe for live things. My husband seems to think the opposite. Can you give us an answer to our disagreement? Thanks in advance.
