EcoFactor: Power efficient eco-friendly lights.
Nowadays harmful substances such as liquid mercury and lead are often present in energy-saving lights. With the growing number of consumer complaints regarding safety, a new kind of light is being launched in the market. These environmentally safe lights, called Marexim, look similar to the normal lightbulbs. But unlike the CFL’s, these have a protective shell around the inner workings which make them much safer and stronger than the ones with exposed fragile tubes.
Not just that, these lights also exceed the safety standards and contain the smallest possible amount of mercury, which is locked inside a solid state. The “soft start” process enables the bulb to reach and pass its average life of 10,000 hours (up to 15 times longer than a normal bulb). Also, these lights come in the same shape and size of the regular bulbs; hence there is no need to fret about the lamp not fitting your Luminaire! The fact that the company also provides a free postage box, to allow every bulb to be returned for recycling, makes this product a boon for our environment.
The Dark Side:
No demerits on this one. The fact that these lights can be recycled and are safer and efficient as compared to the other lights, makes them an extremely good product.

Nice! A welcome development.
I know!! This one truly is! I absolutely love LED lights. Manish last time I spoke to you, you told me LED lights were expensive and I told you that they aren’t. Did you go and check them out in the store? In case you are planning to buy look for the Philips one, or you might get a good deal online. Since you stay in Mumbai and have the time, go to Lamington road, you get really good deals there :)
Thanks Nithya, glad you remember our earlier talk on this. But nope, I haven’t really gone out checking for them after our talk. But when I do, I will remember to ask for Philips.
