The recycling business is looking up! This new wave of recycled furniture, made up of second hand household goods has made quite a splash on today’s market. One of the most interesting perhaps is this recycled skateboard chair. Made from 8 second hand skateboards screwed into the chairs metal frame. Neoprene is then sprayed on top of the skateboards to give it that soft leathery feel. Totally rad, yet maintaining those classy upper-crust looks. The price, unfortunately, has not been included, but I would say $250 would not be a bad price. Perfect for inviting your surfer friends over for cocktails!

That’s pretty cool, really. It would be neat if there was a way to show all the designs on the bottom of the boards as well, like using some clear plastic as padding? I dunno.
Hmm. That would be cool depending on the skateboard’s design. But i think the designers opted for the path of least resistance here. The undersurface of the boards have additional grip which would have to be removed and smoothened, and perhaps a clear plastic gel is expensive or difficult to use. Besides... I like black! :)
I love it the way it is!
