Attention drivers, who fuel their vehicles with gasoline! Here is another alternative to encourage you with. The French fry grease! That is what Robert Tomey feeds his Volkswagen Beetle with.
It’s not the oil ready to be cooked in, but the used vegetable oil drained from his fryers! Isn’t it a great idea for one in the world of soaring demand for fuel and escalating prices?
The owner of four McDonald’s - in Amory, Aberdeen, Houston and Vernon, Ala. - recently converted his Volkswagen and the company’s Ford pickup truck to run on this used vegetable oil.

I am a former professional mechanic and I am interested in information on the conversions necessary to make a diesel engine run on used french fry oil. Also, can the engine run on clean vegetable oil or is there something in the frying process that makes used more suitable?
Thanks,

And this idea would be great for everyone but be sure this would be good both for the cars and the users. All of the possible substitute have been experimented to be a great alternative and hope this one would be effective.
