As we are all now learning the sun can provide us with an almost endless source of clean as well as renewable energy. Here is how you can make a solar powered fish aquarium, the main part of the project comprises of a solar pump (you can get one on e-bay for around 16 bucks) and off-course a solar panel to run the pump. The pump has a little solar panel thing hooked up to a tube with some fiber and activated charcoal. Make holes at the bottom of the tube and leave it to the sun for more. The solar pump will work because the charcoal in the bar comes up and pulses as the light hits the solar panel (it all depends if the sun is hitting it at the right time). The pump flow is continuous and considered safe, it cycles through the whole tank and is pretty easy.
