To turn garden rubbish into a soil conditioning compost, Ian Walker’s WRS Composting firm in Ince Blundell, near Formby has opened a new processing plant. The plant costs £900,000! This new process is an eco friendly alternative to peat.
Ian seems very optimistic with his investment. His turnover is said to have already tripled in the current year! And he believes, this should reach £1m in the 2006/2007 financial year as local demands are swelling due to restrictions on landfill.
