This is quite simple the most elegant and sexy electric scooters around that are actually on road and not still a concept visualization of some up and coming designer who spends more time on the CG pages than actually understanding the needs of those who actually need the vehicles to commute around. A large part of successful design is to make sure that you understand the needs of those who ride it, put yourself in their shoes and then make sure that you come up with the perfect amalgamation of sense, style, simplicity and utility!

The Nissan Mori is all that and a lot more as it adds the green touch by being the best electric powered scooter around today. An electric scooter would be practical, affordable and have less impact on the environment. Those living a tad bit away from their work place need an affordable, simple and clean vehicle to commute through the busy city life. While an electric car is fancy, we all know how the traffic is with that. An electric scooter is the best solution, but most people wish it was simpler and they needed to do less of the managing.

Nissan understood these needs, and that there is a market in Japan for an electric scooter targeted at such demographic with the Mori. The Nissan Mori is an electric scooter inspired by a chest of draws featuring simple interfaces and hassle free maintenance. It can change its height and stance to suit the user, and all mechanical and maintenance issues are handled by the on board computer. No fuss with all the comforts- that pretty much sums up what the modern lifestyle needs and that is exactly what Mori is. It sure is going to also get you attention with hot looks and plenty of style along with getting you to your workplace in time- For a change. Nissan Mori is truly a tiny little eco-revelation!!

While I can only applaud these efforts, I recognised 2 mayor shortcomings whithin a second of seeing the first photo: It needs a windshield and mud guards. Modern scooters don’t look the way they do because a designer wanted a pretty picture but because of function and comfort. This thing only works if you do all your traveling in a mall ;)
Hey rightly pointed Robbie. But I guess, trimmings like mud guard can always be added on with out much fuss. Or may be it is intended for uber clean, mud-free roads :)
No mud guards guys cos it is not really designed to be an off-road beast and will do when you are using it for just city commuting in most countries across the world (and i’m not talking about India. Now ind shield cos it really will never need one as it is an electric COMMUTER and unless you are up against a storm it will never pick up pace to really need one. But still, maybe you right about the fact that it will work only in a mall and as Deepa said, simple add-ons are no issue :)
