Walking through this festival gives a feeling of wandering through the city aliens or may be a glow town located deep in abyss! Crafted out of sculptures made from odds and ends including plastic bags and bottles, computer fans, portable DVD players hooked up to screens, and assorted PC components, Shih Chieh Huang’s Recycled Robots bought life back to the used cast off stuff at Santa Monica’s GLOW festival. The sculptures were stuffed full of multicolored lights, black lights and glowing UV liquids that portrayed a supernatural impression as they danced about with the help of small integrated fans.
Shih Chieh Huang’s deft installations and sculptures refer both to the common source of their origin (as humble as a garbage bag) as well as to the extraordinary marine environment.

This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! It really feels like I’m right in the middle of the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean floor with all these strange glowing jellyfish floating about me! This is a brilliant, eco-friendly idea for a restaurant pub with an underwater theme.
U bet Nithya, have u seen the video on it? Its gives a perfect show of all these glowing-n-flowing structures! I just loved the plastic bags that fly softly. Looks like some scene from an underwater movie with glowing aquatic animals :)
