The philosophy of one century is the common sense of the next. Think about an innovation that compliments your house and your pool. A pool convection system 2 by Solar Attic comes up with a product which helps suck hot air out of your attic and pumps it into a heat exchanger to heat your pool. It cools down the house by transferring the heat out of the attic.
Features
• Easy to use Controls
• Adjustable Thermostat
• Reliable Solid-State Circuitry
• Motorized CPVC Solar Valve
• Standard Thermostat Sensors
• Automatic control of solar valve
• Control for second solar valve
• High limit temperature knob
• Temperature sensor status indicators
• Automatic drain-down freeze protection (optional)
• Rugged composite enclosures

Benefits
No roof molded panels required, reduces air conditioning cost by cooling attic space and what more, you feel hot move inside the house and vice versa.
Price
The system costs around $5,000 (including installation), which makes it comparable to the better solar thermal pool heaters out there on the market. The solar thermal heaters–which gather heat from the sun with rooftop panels–will not cool off your house much, but this one is like a cake with a cherry on it and at least I wouldn’t have missed on it provided, I had a pool.

Comments
I installed the manual version of this last summer. It works very well both in heating the pool and cooling our home. In our climate most everyone would use a gas fired heater, as solar alone is often not adequate. I believe the payback is going to be in less than 5 years. The pitch of our roof is not proper for orientating solar collectors so I was very happy to find a product that turned my entire roof into a solar collector. The benefits of cooling are a large bonus.
