Do we really need gadgets or technology for every little thing? I mean let’s define its plan of action! Agreed technology is there to make things easier, accurate and simple but, if we talk about these ‘solar powered parking attendants’ (a gadget off course) replacing real time parking attendants (humans). Fine, a machine can stand in the sun and work more efficiently than a human attendant (for that matter) but imagine the person in-charge will loose his job. Life has become so fast and wannabe perfect that we can’t even waste a single minute looking for an attendant in that scorching heat beating down, however, we are still humans and need to understand and compromise at times.
Guys we talk about the daily collections not matching the number of cars in the parking lot (human error) but, that’s still acceptable. Why don’t you replace these politicians with machines knowing they drain your wealth? Small errors are still tolerable but, I don’t blame you for it cuz our mentality has urbanized in a negative manner. Life is way beautiful and we all need to catch those big fishes rather than throwing the net near the shore. Well, to some extent I would even appreciate these solar powered parking machines, only and only because it uses renewable energy, otherwise I still believe it’s still not the end of parking attendants. Humanity is still not dead, and it had/is/will live for eternity.
