Tough times call for stiffer measures, with environment becoming the core of all concerns, music that buzz out of the loudspeakers becomes their concern if not ours.
Wall of sound - the collection of loudspeakers that helped Grateful Dead’s rock the entire world for decades was their incarnation and they are back again, with an improvised self. Hard Truckers have been at the pinnacle of producing speaker cabinets, with the progressive technology, producing cabinets’ way ahead of time.
This time though, living out of their image, Hard Truckers have come up with a new eco-friendly speaker cabinet - that brags over the 26,400-watt Wall of sound. The 12′ Tone Tubby Hempcone speakers covered in renewable bamboo are made of pressed hemp. They call it ‘the Fatty‘ and it is not just a loudspeaker, but much more, with simply amazing sound - aimed for the desires of all, whether a professional guitarist or amateur with the guitar or the keyboard.
Fatty is built of ¾’ hemp board, also loaded with 12′ Tone Tubby Hempcone speakers (sported by hemp cones for the natural sound) and bamboo siding for the conventional feel - embedded with tie-die and batik grills that can be removed and put on as and when desired, well clutched in place by the rare earth magnets.
Hand-made works of art and design is Hard Truckers’ peculiarity, that’s always set them in a different league - and with this beautiful and exclusive design of speakers, environment and musicians will surely benefit from.
