Times Online has brought out a wonderful and thoughtful piece listing the best ‘Green Blogs’ that are around for the benefit of those who seek to taste the zest of a green and clean life. Since we always love to bring you the news right from the heart of the co world, we thought that this list could be the road map needed for the up and coming green enthusiasts. The list is well compiled and the best part is that it is categorized in to convenient groups that specifically cater to your need. So you can go around looking for the best green sites and make your search more precise and particular using this online guide.
The list basically consists of Top 50 green sites and while it does not rank them in any particular fashion (unlike the Billboard countdown), it actually serves a greater and better purpose. More than being a fancy list to grab headlines, it aims at promoting a green culture and some mainstream awareness. The sites range from the now famous Treehugger to some more politically inclined ones of Al Gore. Our own EcoFriend makes it to the select list of two websites which tell people about ‘Eco Inventions’. Of course rather than taking that as a compliment, we only take that as a small incentive that would make us strive harder to bring forth unbiased and down right honest opinion on all the major environmental issues and gadgets of the day.
The list is really great and I myself have already checked out a few more sites that I did not know of earlier. It is basically a wonderful attempt to bring about a green wave to save the planet. While none of us can claim that we are saving the planet in a major way, every little effort of ours is aimed at making sure that one day we live in a green and clean world. Any help towards the greater cause is welcome and it goes beyond the realms of petty matters and vested interests. Hope the good work continues to spread the “Green Spirit”.
