Though talking on cellphone while driving is considered dangerous and unlawful (in many countries), most of us cannot resist the urge to answer that call even while speeding on the highway. For such times and more, we have to resort to hands-free Bluetooth devices that allow yakking without much hindrance. However, Iqua’s Vizor Sun is up on the horizon for all the eco-chatters who want to add an element of eco even while answering calls. Designed to fit on your car’s visor, it absorbs all the sun’s energy through the windshield as you drive. Helping to extend your talk time to over 20 hours, it is also generous with a standby time of 500 hours.

The Visor Sun features a voice-recognition option, which makes it easy to call your buddy by just saying her name. Easily located buttons on the front make it 100% user-friendly and drive-friendly.
Though it’s out of stock now, you can try to grab it for $100 sometime soon.

The idea seems brilliant as the visor is located at a very convenient position to use this gadget but most of the time the visor is up. So how would this stuff get charged? Maybe you can place it on the dashboard when there is sunlight, get it charged and place it back in visor? If that is the case, it looks like visor is just a place where you can keep this for use and not for charging... I may be wrong, but just a thought.
Exactly that seems to be the only downside of this solar powered doodad.
You are right. Otherwise the gadget is really cool. And I think there is no better place than the visor to keep the hands free gadget.. the unit will be quite close to the mouth to catch what you speak.
This is a great idea. This will help you in driving in more safe and more convenient. Its more good if your Tool Box too has like this attributes.
